In order to be eligible for the La Salle County Fair Scholarship, potential applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • The applicant must be a High School Senior in Grade 12 residing in La Salle County with plans to attend college.
  • The applicant must have at least four years of fair participation between grades 6 through 12.
  • The applicant must be a member of 4-H, FHA, and/or FCCLA.
  • The applicant must rank in the top 25 percentile of their graduating class.

 The application must be completed in its entirety and include:

  • Two letters of recommendation
  • A high school transcript
  • A recent formal head and shoulders photograph of the applicant
  • An essay (typed, 1/2 to 1 page in length), outlining the applicant's active participation and accomplishments through the fair as well as lessons learned.
