 Market Steers
1.  Steers will be weighed and validated on the Saturday nearest October 1.  Any steer not validated at this time will not be eligible to show.
 
2.  Each exhibitor may show two (2) steers in this division.
 
3.  Market steers must weigh 1000 pounds or more at the official weigh-in time of the show.
 
4.  Steers will be divided by weight.  The show committee will establish classes.
 
5.  Steers must be halter broken and shown with a halter only.  No additional restraining devices will be allowed.  Wild and unruly animals will be sifted.
 
6.  Steers must be dehorned, otherwise they will be sifted.
 
7.  All steers must be sheared slick - hair less than 1/4 of an inch in length - and inspected on or after a date set by the booster club.
 
 Junior Beef Breeding Show
1.  All entries must be owned and a bonafide project of the boy/girl enrolled in 4-H or FFA.  The entry must be owned by the exhibitor prior to the Saturday closest to October 1 and be presented for validation at that time.  Heifers will be classified at validation by the show committee.
 
2.  Each exhibitor will be allowed to show an unlimited number of animals in the junior breeding show.
 
3.  Entries must have been born between January 2003 and June 2004.
 
4.  Heifers must be halter broken and shown with a halter only.  No additional restraining devices will be allowed.  Wild and unruly animals will be sifted.
 
5.  Classes will be determined by breed and age by the show committee.
 
6.  Heifers 24 months or older must be certified safe in calf by a veterinarian.
 
 Goats
1.  Each exhibitor will be allowed to show two (2) goats.
 
2.  Castrated male goats and un-bred female goats will be shown together and will be divided into classes by weight.
 
3.  The exhibitor must have owned the goat prior to December 1 and the goat shall have been fed and cared for by the exhibitor during the feeding period.
 
4.  Goats must have their milk teeth in normal position at time of validation.
 
5.  The goats must weigh a minimum of forty (40) pounds at the show.
 
6.  All goats must be dehorned or have horns tipped.
 
 Swine
1.  Each exhibitor will be allowed to show two (2) hogs.
 
2.  The exhibitor must have owned the pig prior to December 1 and the pig shall have been fed and cared for by the exhibitor during the feeding period.
 
3.  Both barrows and gilts may be shown.
 
4.  All breeds and crosses will be shown together.  Classes will be divided by weight by the show committee.
 
5.  Hogs must weigh between 220 and 270 pounds at the official weighing or they will be sifted.
 
 Broilers
1.  Each exhibitor will be allowed to enter two (2) pens of broilers.
 
2.  A pen of broilers will consist of three (3) birds.
 
3.  The pen of broilers must weigh at least 15 pounds at the official weigh-in.  Pens weighing under 15 pounds will be sifted.
 
4.  Broilers will be placed on feed approximately eight (8) weeks prior to the show and it is suggested that a minimum of twenty-five pullets be purchased and fed.  All broilers must be purchased through the 4-H or FFA advisors and all broilers will come from the same hatch.
 
5.  Exhibitors will be responsible for seeing that their bids are processed and delivered to the buyer.
 
 Showmanship Award
1.  Awards will be given to the top showman in the junior and senior beef, goat, and swine division of the show.  Junior exhibitors are age 13 and under as of the date of the show.
 
2.  Judging of the showmanship will be done while the exhibitor is showing his/her animal in its respective class.
 
3.  Showmanship winners will be announced at the auction.
